Setting up PSP X3
I own the intellectual copyright for the written tutorial. What you make is yours, but please do not take my tutorial. Share only my link. This tutorial is intended for beginners to learn how to use a mask. If you have any questions, please feel free to Email me. To do this tutorial you will also need Paint Shop Pro. I wrote this with Paint Shop Pro X3. You may download a free trial at Corel. Remember to save as a psp file often!
When I opened my X3 I said OMG! The layout was completely different, and I thought that I would have to learn Paint Shop all over again:
Actually, that was the Organizer interface. The "old" X2 layout is still there.
Click on the Full Editor button (top right of screen), and you'll get the old layout:
Still missing some things on the right side. View > Palettes > Layers (and then again for Materials)
Now, let's fix PSP so that it will open in this Full Editor Layout: File > Preferences > General Program Preferences
Click on Default Launch Workspace (in left pane) and then choose Full Editor (in right pane)
Click OK and now your PSP will open in this Full Editor layout the next time.
